This is the play-around, learn stuff Dev Site for Divi 4.
It’s not going to look very good, I’m not the best graphic designer, but this is also still my first week.
The taskbar being off-center may be a good place to start in terms of “Fixing” things. I just have to figure out where it’s stored..
(Edit made on 5/29) I just needed a Logo!! I do not know why the SVG was cut off to just “Pinwheel We Deveolpmer” but it worked!
If you end up looking at this, I am more than willing to figure out any bugs or issues that you (Other Pinwheel Employee, I hope) may be able to incur just by invoking their presence.
I'm going to set it up like a portfolio/news site, Even though nobody will see this.
Maybe this will be something that is easy to break?
Maybe I’m also just playing it too safe. Who knows! This is my first week after all. Let’s see where this takes me. For now, all I really have done so far is updates and taking requests.
This is an interesting element
Content on two different clickable boxes. I’m pretty amazed at how powerful each of these pre-made elements are.
I genuinely do not see many uses for this. But it could be used for pricing plans I assume.
Especially if you were able to add extra layers?
Don't click here!
Aww man, all the text I just wrote above and below got crushed. How dare you!
YOU CAN!
Such Wizardry! You have so much control over such a unique option that is lacking a lot of use.
I’m an amateur photographer, I primarily take photos of my hometown, especially in the downtown area.
A lot of what I try to do with photography is to capture that voiceless magic that comes from seeing a well-done photograph. “A Picture is worth a thousand words” may be true, but a well-done photograph will share a lifetime’s worth.

Hello world!
Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!
Events you will find me at
I do not go to many, but when I go to events, I'm usually there for the full day.
I thought there was going to be a calendar element I could throw on the left. Turns out this is… a futile effort actually, heheh.
Edit 5/29/26
It’s not futile, I can actually use this as a post slider, and you could put the blog posts relative to the events.
For real, You will probably be able to see me at local events in my area.
If you’re somehow miraculously looking at this and are not Pinwheel staff
1. Why are you here?
2. How did you get here??
3. Please do not look for me.
My preferred editing software
I love Darktable for actual photographic composition; It gives me the freedom and complexity of a tool like Lightroom, but it doesn’t require a subscription or a paid license at all.
It’s one of my favorite tools on Linux that is unrelated to gaming. A lot of the other tools I like are usually tangentially related to video games.
On the right, there would be an image for example, but I don’t want to break anything or do anything I cannot. Maybe I’ll ask Ash on Monday if I can add images.
I probably can.. But who knows.
Closing thoughts:
Divi 4 is like a dragon. Archaic, intimidating, yet.. once you get to know it, things begin to make more sense. Its slowness becomes moments for you to see what it’s doing, the icons are its own language, and it ends up being a worthy ally over being a major threat
The Iconographic nature of the builder did take some getting used to, but such is the way of Iconographic tools. Come monday I should raise the idea of taking this website and trying to convert it into a Divi 5 site. I don’t have any plugins installed, but it would actually be worth seeing what breaks, and what actually is missing or changed between the two.
I didn’t use every tool on the site, but I tried my best to play around and experiment with everything I know is a basic tool employed by websites such as the official Pinwheel site, as well as ones that I find interesting.
It is to the point I can look at the Pinwheel site and.. Almost see the modules? I have a weird brain and it works in very weird ways. I do hope I can pick up more workload, I do better in actual environments, but this was a fun self-challenge.
I do not know if it is Firefox, Divi, or Linux causing this to happen; But on occasion I get stuck in “Grab mode” which is unbelievably frustrating..
I can’t interact with anything when that happens, I have to click another element or something other than what I actually want to work on!
- My patience for this bug 10%
- My willingness to fix it however? 95%
